This study examines the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of dentists and dental students in Trinidad regarding the treatment of patients with special needs. The research identifies key misconceptions, knowledge gaps, and attitudinal challenges within the dental community, providing actionable recommendations for dental curriculum reform and professional development. The findings contribute to improving dental care accessibility and quality for special needs populations.
